Bio

Sam Sprague was born and raised near Hammondsport, NY, and
presently resides in Ithaca, NY.

As a child, Sam was always drawing and discovering different realms of
the art world. He later went on to achieve a degree in fine arts from the
Art Institute of Pittsburgh, where he lived for six years. Since his
education, Sam has worked as a commercial graphic artist as well as
developing his imagery within his own art.

Sam likes to work mostly with oil paint, but also enjoys experimenting
with mixed medias as well. Sam has a wide variety of influences and
styles, and enjoys many aspects of the art community. His work varies
from local scenes to anywhere his imagination takes him. Sam hopes to
provide images that his customers can feel a part of.
